Stack Navigation: The Art of Exploration 📚

“Stacked like cards, opening like doors. MononoMori’s navigation leaps lightly over deep hierarchies.”

📚 StackablePeek

MononoMori uses a “Stacked Card” style similar to Safari browser tabs to represent hierarchy.

Intuitive Depth

When you open a new page (e.g., “Inside the Shelf”), the new card stacks on top of the current page.

  • Visual Context: You can still see the edge of the previous page (Parent Location) behind the current card. You never lose track of “Where am I?”.
  • Swipe to Back: Simply swipe the top card down (or right) to return to the parent location instantly.

🏗️ Drill-Down Selector

Moving items is often the most tedious part of organizing apps. MononoMori solves this with the unique “Drill-Down Selector”.

Moving an Item

When you want to move “Passport” from “Desk” into “Safe”:

  1. Select “Move” for the item.
  2. The Selector appears. It shows top-level Spaces first.
  3. Tap “Bedroom” > The view dives into the Bedroom.
  4. Tap “Closet” > The view dives into the Closet.
  5. Tap “Safe” > “Move Here”.

“Drill-Down” means digging deeper and deeper without losing context.

  • Breadcrumbs: The top bar always shows the path (Home > Bedroom > Closet). Tap any part to jump back up.
  • Focus: Only the relevant sub-locations are shown, keeping the screen clean.

⚡ Quick Jump via Tags

Another way to navigate is “Lateral Movement” using tags.

  • Instead of digging down (Hierarchy), jump across (Tags).
  • Tap #Important Document on the Passport.
  • Instantly see a card with ALL important documents, regardless of whether they are in the Safe, Desk, or Bank.

This combination of Vertical (Stack) and Horizontal (Tag) navigation makes MononoMori unrivaled in finding things.
